Egyptastic Buzzword Bingo - Conference Edition

In a move that has already been described as both 'performative' and 'intertextual' by Egyptologists around the world, Egyptastic is making a buzzword bingo game available from its website.

The game promises to make any Egyptology conference half-way bearable, and its authors have already predicted that it will become the dominant paradigm amongst Egyptology-themed games, combining as it does all the fun of bingo with the exciting world of fashionably meaningless jargon and intellectual mumbo-jumbo. Egyptastic Buzzword Bingo also comes complete with blank cards - allowing you to choose your own buzzwords and keep up to date with the latest academic trends.

Egyptastic's authors were reported to be keen for the site's readers to download the pdf of the game now and also to email them with suggestions for more buzzwords or copies of completed bingo cards.

In a surprise closing paragraph to the article on the satirical website, Egyptastic's authors also said: "Coming soon: Egyptastic Buzzword Bingo - TV Archaeotainment Edition. Suggest your favourite buzzwords and clichés now".
